THE SCHOOL

Carl Duisberg Centren, with over 40 years of experience in the field, offer qualified training in seven locations throughout Germany. Our highly qualified and experienced teaching staff is regularly trained in the most recent methods and materials. The center specializes in intensive German courses starting from 2 weeks up to 40 weeks.

The Carl Duisberg Training Center Cologne was founded 1962. The Cologne Training Center offers German Intensive courses throughout the year. We can always make special arrangements for groups travelling together if the group registers well enough in advance. Classes are available at levels 1 to 10.

FACILITIES

Mediothek: Media Study Center with language laboratories, multimedia computers, interactive video, video library, library. Supervised self-study Monday to Friday 2 pm – 5pm.

All the students can use the Internet free of charge; Satellite TV, Elevator

Our cafeteria or the numerous small restaurants nearby will take good care of your bodily needs in the morning and at lunchtime.

ADVANTAGES OF SCHOOL LOCATION

The Carl Duisberg Training Center in Cologne is close to the city center and can easily be reached using public transport. Its 6-storeyed building has space for up to 160 students in its friendly classrooms which have all the latest equipment. The media center with its computers and modern learning programs, the library and the video library all combine to form a stimulating atmosphere where you can continue learning after your group lessons. You can stay in touch with home and the whole world via satellite TV in the entrance hall and e-mail and Internet access. There is free W-Lan access in the whole school. Our cafeteria or the numerous small restaurants nearby will take good care of your bodily needs in the morning and at lunchtime.

There are 13 classrooms and 15 highly qualified German teachers in the center. Classes are available at all levels.

DO STUDENTS KEEP PROVIDED MATERIAL?

Students receive the material they have to work with for free and are allowed to keep it.

IS AIRPORT PICKUP OFFERED?

If you arrive at Cologne/Bonn airport, you can order airport transfer to the CDC school or to your accommodation through either the school staff or your host family. The trip costs € 60,00. If you fly into Duesseldorf the price is € 100,00.
