THE SCHOOL

Carl Duisberg Centren, with over 40 years of experience in the field, offer qualified training in seven locations throughout Germany. Our highly qualified and experienced teaching staff is regularly trained in the most recent methods and materials. The center specializes in intensive German courses starting from 2 weeks up to 40 weeks.

The Carl Duisberg Training Center Munich was founded 1963. It offers German Intensive courses throughout the year. We can always make special arrangements for groups travelling together if the group registers well enough in advance. Classes are available at levels 1 to 8, level 9 and 10 on request.

FACILITIES

Mediothek: Media Study Center with language laboratories, multimedia computers, interactive video, video library, library. Supervised self-study according to individual timetable, open on workdays from 1pm till 4pm.

The Internet (in the Mediothek) can be used for course and private purposes during breaks and after the courses till 6pm on working days.

In the Guest house there are internet jacks and WLAN available for all participants with own laptops free of charge

Cafeteria is open from Monday to Friday: 07.30 to 13.30.

ADVANTAGES OF SCHOOL LOCATION

The Carl Duisberg Training Center in Munich is situated in the Neuhausen district in the west of Munich, in a quiet residential area, with good connection to all districts by the public transport. The 6-storey-high residence is next door to the school. The Olympia Park where the Olympic Games 1972 took place is only 15 minutes away. In the direct vicinity of the Training Center there are three university restaurants (Mensas), a super market, a post office, University of Applied Sciences, a sports field. The Training Center is about 15 minutes away from the main railway station in the city center using public transport (bus or tram). The nearest international airport is Munich Airport where students can be picked up on request. The Training Center was founded 1963. It can place 75 students, usually there are 50-60 students a month. There are 10 classrooms, a media center with a library, a language lab, a computer room with 6 computer places. The Internet (in the media center) can be used for course use only. In the Training Center there is also a cafeteria.

There are 10 classrooms and 15 highly qualified German teachers in the Training Center. Classes are available at levels 1 to 8, levels 9-10 on request.

IS AIRPORT PICKUP OFFERED?

you arrive at the Munich airport, you can order airport transfer to the CDC school or to your accommodation through either the school staff or your host family. The trip costs € 80,00
