THE SCHOOL
CRLA offers:

FACILITIES
AT CRLA along with our Spanish classrooms, we have two computer rooms with Internet access, as well as wireless Internet service, two classrooms for Latin dance classes, a small café serving snacks and lunch, several sunny terraces and a beautiful tropical garden.

ADVANTAGES OF SCHOOL LOCATION
Located in Barrio Dent, a quiet up-scale neighborhood on the east side of San José, CRLA is close to places of interest for the students - across from the University of Costa Rica campus, close to the well-known San Pedro Mall and to a variety of restaurants, cinemas, banks, Internet cafes, and many stores.
It is also a 20 minute walk from downtown San José and a short bus ride from our homestay families. |

Most of our students, approx. 40% are between the ages of 18-23.

MINIMUM AGE
The minimum age for students coming on their own is 16 (with parental consent), or younger 16-10 years old if they come along with their parents or as part of a school group accompanied by teachers/chaperones.

* Homestay offered for $129.5usd per week 15-25 minutes by public bus ride from the school.
Latin Dance classes held 2 hours daily, 5 times/week Monday-Friday, from 3-4pm and 4-5pm. Two groups Beginner & Advanced available simultaneously.
Costa Rican Cooking class held every Wednesday from 4-5pm.
Spanish conversation sessions held every Tuesday and Thursday from 4-5pm.
