THE SCHOOL
Our three storey fully air-conditioned school is conveniently located in the heart of the city, close to all amenities, where transport is readily available to any other part of the city or outskirts of town.

We have six different class levels: Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, and Advanced.

NATIONALITY BREAKUP
GEOS CTLC attract students from all over the world (from, Africa, Asia, the Middle East to Europe and South America), which allows students to share and exchange cultural experiences with students from other countries whilst improving their English in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Our courses are designed to provide a balanced blend of academic content, a taste of South African culture and a host of exciting leisure time activities.
MINIMUM AGE
Our youngest students form part of groups which attend our young learners program, they are usually aged between 12 and 18 years of age.
DO STUDENTS KEEP PROVIDED MATERIAL?
Textbooks are provided to the student and a US$ 35 book deposit is payable. (ZAR 170 is refundable depending on condition of the books).
Courses use specifically targeted course books, authentic supplementary materials and incorporate work with audio and video media as well as computer assisted language learning.
Students receive a school certificate at the end of their course stating level of achievement and the period of attendance.
IS AIRPORT PICKUP OFFERED?
Free airport transfer on arrival if homestay accommodation has been booked with CTLC.
Alternatively, airport transfer can be arranged at a cost of US$30. No bookings will be made until payment is received. If the students airline flight details change and we are not notified within 24 hours of arrival, the student will be liable for the pickup fee. |

* Our host families are located in the central business area, and distances will vary slightly from home to home. Should the student wish to walk it would take them approximately 20 – 25 minutes. Should they prefer to take public transport, it will take between 5 and 10 minutes to reach the school.

Studying at Cape Town Language Centre is not just all hard work and no play! We would like students to take the opportunity of visiting our beautiful city and take part in some of its activities. Each week students are encouraged to participate in our week student activities. Student activities range from: harbour trips, to bowling, laserquest, ice skating, boulders penguin colony, camps bay beach, visiting Table Mountain, Wine Tasting and many more. Please note that some of the activities are weather dependant.
