THE SCHOOL

HISPANIA, ESCUELA DE ESPANYOL was opened in the year 2002. We started with one student and nowadays we are the most popular school of the city of Valencia. HISPANIA, ESCUELA DE ESPANYOL was created by a young group of teachers who had finished the University studies of Spanish Linguistic and Culture.  So this is the main difference with the rest of the schools: we do not have the figure of a bussiness man. In our school the bosses are teachers and this makes the school to be of a very good educational quality.  The most important thing for us is the learning of the Spanish language and of course, because all the HISPANIA TEAM has been in the same situation as our students ( we have also gone  abroad for studying ) we are constantly paying attention to the fitting of the students to the Spanish Culture and the city of Valencia, of course if they need our help, we are always ready to help them without any condition and of course we are all the time helping them in their worries for free!

We are the only school in Valencia that has a rate of  90% pass rate on D.E.L.E. exams ( The Official Spanish Diploma needed if you apply for a good job in Spain or Latino America)

FACILITIES

In HISPANIA, students have computers for working on their own or getting Internet conexion for FREE!

Furthermore we have a service of  library where students can borrow books, material or D.V.D’s for improving their Spanish.

We also offer Accommodation Service and Turism service.

ACCREDITATIONS AND MEMBERSHIPS

are in the process of being recognized by Instituto Cervantes, we are not yet because until now all the staff behave more as teachers than organizing burocratic documents, but this year we had the time ( because we are more teachers) to prepare everything for being recognized by many organizations. The University of Valencia has named HISPANIA, for three  consecutive years the OFFICIAL SPONSOR for the FOREIGN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS  WELCOME EVENT, and they say we are the best option to choose. We also work with some Universities in Europe, China and Serbia.

ADVANTAGES OF SCHOOL LOCATION

We are located in the centre of Valencia, on the Mediterranean coast of Spain. Valencia is one of the favourite destinations for international tourists, thanks to its mild weather, beautiful beaches, excellent food and its neverending life, during the day, but also at night. HISPANIA is located in the heart of the city of Valencia, we are in the city centre where all the most popular shops are. HISPANIA is  surrounded of bars, pubs, theatres, cinemas and furthermore we are in the most artistic and historical part of the city.

AVERAGE NUMBER OF STUDENTS

In winter we usually have around 160 students and also in Summer because we are a school working the whole year very busy.

AVERAGE NUMBER OF LEVELS

We follow the same pattern of levels than the rest of the Official Schools of the European Union. There is the EUROPEAN  COMMON  FRAMEWORK  where the levels are divided  in 6. A1 ( total initial) A2 ( upper- initial) B1 ( intermediate)  B2 ( upper- intermediate) C1 ( advance ) C2 ( proficiency).

AVERAGE AGE OF STUDENTS

In summer we have students from 16 to 35 years old. In winter students are in their 20’s 30’s or 40’s.

We offer airport pickup, if it is just picking up, it costs 30 Euros, but if it is pick up  and return the student it is 50 Euros.

This type of flats are or in the city centre or 20 minutes walking from the city centre or if the student wants in the beach area. Students can have individual or shared room if they prefer. They share the kitchen and sometimes the bath room. Each bed room has a table to study. There are some flats that have bath room inside the bed room, some flats have internet conexion, other have big terraces, and most of them are very colourful and lightly.

. Students will be living with a Spanish family and they will feel the real Spanish Culture. They have their own bed room and they do not have to worry about cooking. They can choose whether being in half board or full board. Usually host families are so closed to the school.
